The minimum rental period is 2 days, with exception of Minivans or Small SUV's. Often, these bigger sized cars are rented out for longer stay periods.
Your vehicle is insured and all local taxes for the vehicle are paid in time. We have no hidden fees or charges that surprise you on arrival. 
First of all, make sure you're not hurt or in need of urgent medical assistance. Next, call 199 (Road Services/Forensys). They will be there in just a few minutes to report the accident for insurance purposes. Once you have called 199, just give us a quick call or text so we know what's going on. We will come over and help out any way we can.
First and foremost, you need a driver's license and you must be over the age of 21 to rent with us. Never leave personal or valuable belongings in your rental car to avoid theft. You should always follow the road rules and make sure you're wearing your seatbelt. Never text and drive. If an accident should occur due to texting and driving, the insurance will be invalid and you won't be covered.
If you selected to pick up and drop off your vehicle at the Curacao International Airport, a $20 airport fee applies. The Curacao Airport Authorities charge this fee to rental companies whom are not affiliated with the airport in order to do business on their property.
When renting a car with Escape Rent a Car, it's important to remember a couple of things. Inside your rental vehicle dashboard, you can find the car papers. If you happen to get pulled over, show the authorities these papers with your drivers license and you'll be fine. Most cars here on the Island use Gasoline fuel (SUPER). The fuel type for your vehicle will be specified inside. No smoking or pets allowed inside the vehicles.

The standard maximum speed is 60KM/H, which is about 37MPH, unless otherwise shown with signs on the road. Driving without your seatbelt or texting and driving can result in a ANG300 guilder fine from the authorities. Be mindful when driving. The local infrastructure is not completely up to par on all sides of the island. You could encounter holes in the road which you would have to avoid every now and then, be careful when avoiding in order to not cause accidents.
